After almost 50 years of experimentation the Somali Republic failed, does that mean that:

- ex-British Somaliland and ex-Italian Somaliland should go their different ways and undo the union?
- That the blue and white Somali flag should be put in museum?
- Mogadishu city should lose its capital status?



Those 3 things are connected, either all 3 are undone or none is undone.

Mogadishu is the capital of Somalia, like its flag is blue with a white star, and like the shape of its land is 7.

YOU CANNOT CHANGE ONE OF THOSE 3 KEY CHARACTERISTICS OF SOMALIA.

It doesn't surprise me why a Northeastern is pushing the agenda of breaking one of those 3 pillars of Somalia: Mogadishu city as its capital.

What is the purpose of keeping Mogdishu as a capital city? Don't you think the fact that it is the capital city is the main reason why it is extremely unstable? The capital should be moved even if it is for a temporary.......and no those things are not tied to Mogdishu being the capital at all. In fact Mogdishu being the capital keeps regions like Somaliland and Puntland from wanting to join the south to form a government.

Mogadishu has changed Somali status in the world and Political life. Marka we must make Mogadishu the xaar it is by taking away it's importance to Somalia oo dhan which is Capital city.

How retarded are you to even suggest that those three things are connected? The unity of Somalia will for ever stay intact and Mogadishu will just become another Somali city, but it no longer Deserves to be capital for all the obvious reasons.

somalia unity is as distasteful as drinking alcohol..is death folks, the "so-called" unity is death...so for that previous forumer who mentionned that 3 cases are inter twingled and if one of them is broken then the rest shall be all broken...well ur unity notion is out of the window, broken, therefore mogadisho as a capital should be moved to addis abbeba...thats just my opinion..after for all i care is only about somaliland, my country..

What do Lali99 and Somali-Boqor have in common?

Both are working towards the dismantling and discrediting the Somalia we know.

- One (lali99) is discrediting and hating on union and wants to change it, which most probably is caused by clan hatred towards other clans in Somalia and ambitions of clan hegemony within ''Somaliland'' territory.

- The other (Somali-Boqor) is discrediting and hating on the capital and wants to change it, which most probably is caused by clan hatred towards those he sees as been dominant in that city and ofcourse clan ambitions (his dreams of Bosaso been capital).


I would not be surprised if Lali99 and Somaliboqor were the same.

^^^first of all im not daroos boy but a somalilander (go figure which tribe i am)..secondly about ur hemogeny of a certain clan in somaliland does not serve justice about the fact that the same certain clan could have an hemogeny of all somalia if it wishes to be part of greater somalia...but they feel that they could have a greater impact within their society who has a certain level of sophistication that the rest of somalis dont have..why be part of the zoo or even be the zoo keeper when u could just avoid going to the zoo...
