Most Somalis are surface thinkers and surface observers, they have never had the ability to analyze critically and so they understand sticking to one position as being "principled" in the normal circumstance. That is incorrect.

The only people who stick to one position in Somali politics are not "principled" but actually partisan.. They are sticking to a single faction.

Probably the most "principled" man in that regard is Somalian_Boqor, since he has had the same position since the day he logged in. However look at this; does Somalian_boqor care about the people, or at least is that his primary political concern? Absolutely not, his primary concern is Abdullahi Yusuf the man, his faction head basically the guy he is a partisan to. Does Somali_Boqor care about the Ethiopians? Absolutely not, he is both praised and disparaged the Ethiopians. He is against them and insulting them now. Does he care about AMISOM? Absolutely not, he is AMISOM's biggest critic now but he loved them when Yusuf was in power. Somalian_Boqor right now only cares about revenging Yusuf's political defeat by Sharif/Nuur Cadde and supports the men who Yusuf was fighting against because they are now fighting against Sharif/TFG.

My primary concern has always been Somali people. I have went against TFG when I believed they were detrimental to the Somali people. This forum full well knows I have forsaken my own clan militias when I believed they were detrimental to the Somali people. I have been a big supporter of the resistance against Ethiopia because Ethiopia was the biggest enemy of the Somali people. And I turned against the resistance (in this case read Al Shabaab) when they refused to sit down with Shariif and end the problem through talks, after all the Ethiopians are gone why must there be need for war?

I am at the same place where I have always been; going with what I believe will end the civil war and give the Somali people a respite from death and destruction.

There is something quite amusing which i noticed from Somalilanders

Why do they refer to us as South Somalia? Does that they mean they acknowledge being from Northern Somalia instead of "Somaliland", a self declared breakaway nation?
