true if is for security and asked to reveal your identity, you should. but it should never be banned. horta ma'ogtahay ma xaraam timayn kartid what allah xalaaleeyey, mana xalaalayn kartid what allah xaraamtimeeyey!?

Agreed.
I would never advocate banning anything.

It is counter productive and achieves little anyway.

She tries to be controversial at the expense of the religion, which is a dangerous thing to do.

We should encourage young girls to wear the hijab at an early age and not the opposite, that is just pure ignorance. My 4 year old niece loves wearing the hijab, no one forced her, she just loves it, mashallah, most cases kids imitate their parent's behavior, if the mother wears the hijab, there is a good chance the daughter will too.

NO.

I'd like to see hijaabs banned in primary schools though. 3 and 4 yr olds wearing hijaab is just so wrong.

Erm .. .you do realise obscuring ones face whilst driving is not allowed.
When i am doing my driving lessons, i have to take off my hat because it may prevent me from looking in the mirror or behind me and when i asked my instructor why he specifically said it is not allowed. If i cannot use it for my driving lessons, why the hell should someone be able to be unidentifiable to security cams and possibly their vision putting others at risk?

The law and rules are just that. And Niqab or not, Muslim or not. No one is above the law of the land.

If a women wishes the law to satisfy her and her to be able to what she wants with a Niqab, then move to a Muslim country.

Does the niqab satisfy the minimal visual field for driving?
I highly doubt it.

My driving instructor told me to wear trainers/flats when I'm driving...that doesn't mean you're not allowed to drive wearing heels. Lots of people drive with their hats on..do you seriously believe you're not allowed to wear a hat when driving?
Wearing a niqab does not make you "blind", you can look in your mirrors and behind you ( which you have mirrors for anyway lol sure your instructor will show you how to use them soon)

What security camera's ?

No, my hat was said to be obscuring my vision and therefore i had to take it off.
If my hat [and it wasn't that big] is not allowed, why on Gods green earth should a Niqab be allowed?

Well past that stage but thanks.

CCTV, identification.
How can the police identify a person?

But do people think that Niqabs should be worn on ID's? Teachers wear it when teaching? How about entering public buildings?
Ban all religious things in public buildings like France, but on the street and private property, have at it and have a ball.
