These aren't ignorant groups. They are better disciplined, more educated (Islamically), more humane, more realistic and overall better than Somalis in the West (including those with masters and phd degrees).

Sh. Bukhaari spent over 50 years studying the deen & then in da'wah, and when asked about his wealth of knowledge he responded by saying: "I know only what my creator has taught me, which is very little."

How many years have Alshabaab spent on learning the religion? What universities have they attended? Who are their teachers? Where are their creditentials? Zilch.

They have all the signs of Jaahiiliya; lack of humility, craving public attention, no concrete understanding of the religion, excessive delusional tendencies, pathological lying e.g. lining up a few men & lying to everyone by claiming they are going to Falastiin when everyone knows they're not going anywhere, etc.

How's the pay at Langley? What grade did they start you on?

As for women & work, Islam does not forbid it. Women worked, traded & even fought in Jihaad in some cases during the Prophet's time (saw). There are guidelines of course, but its not what people make it. Women make-up an important percentage of our society, its very foolish & counter-productive to deny them education & employment opportunities. Not every woman is lucky to have a husband who financially provides for her, there are widows, divorcees, the un-married, orphans, etc or even women with neglectful husbands who have no choice but to leave the house & earn their keep. Islam did not start with egocentric & ignorant men such as the Taliban & their imitators i.e. Al-shabaab. Islam comes from Allah, Allah created both men & women, he favors none but those who are al-mutaqeen i.e. the pious irrespective of their gender.

Its possible, Allahu aclam. But I don't go around killing & abusing Muslims in the name of Islam. I also don't beat my chest & yell I'm the ultimate champion of Islam. Remember, Alshabaab & all these Jihadi Groups are men, man is not perfect. Everyone has hidden agendas, every man is out for himself. It requires money & lots of it to be driving around in expensive SUVs in a country where there is starvation. Ask yourself this; if Alshabaab & their friends were on the right path, why are they so weak? Why do they run from the enemy if Allah is on their side? Bullshit.

This verse talks about a degree over women as in in responsibility & leadership. Which is correct. Men are the shepherds of their families as the Prophet (saw) put it. Not what you're getting at. Bring me proof where Allah says he favors men over women. Why does he need to, when he has created both & has granted them equal opportunity to gain his pleasure? Allah is above gender issue. That's how I look at it. We are all equal in front of Allah in terms of gender, but in terms of responsibilities, duties, rights, etc we vary.

i hate to get into a discussion with the people of desire about an issue like this but....

men are preferred and given more virtue than women by allah.

Men are the custodians of women, because of what Allah has preferred (faddala) some of them over others and because of what they spend of their wealth [4:34]

allah does prefer some over others.

And Allah preferred (faddala) some of you over others in provision [16:71]

and we shouldn't desire what allah has given some over others (warning to the modernists and people of desire) .

Do not desire what Allah preferred (faddala) some of you over others with. For the men is a share of what they earned and for the women is a share of what they earned. Ask Allah of His bounty. Surely, Allah is knowledgeable of everything [4:32]
