VOA is a legitimate news source that is America's equivalent of the BBC Service, so calling it a propaganda tool for America is a bit of an exaggeration. Of course, any news service has its own biases, but you are stretching it a bit too long.

As for the staff of the VOA, I really don't care who if they are Mudulood or not. I know have some personal friends who work for the VOA and the fact that all the Darod people are up in arms hatching one silly plot after another to dethrone Abdirehman Yabarow and are crying about lack of Darod reporters for the VOA is enough to convince me as to who is in control.

Whether you like it or not, your own Darod relatives are competing to be in Abgaal position at VOA. That doesn't say much about their credibility

Actually I don't know him either but I am going along with what Twisted said about his clan because he said he met him. But I do know that guy does not hire or fire people, he only recommends to his superiors and neither does anyone control the content of the individual journalists.

I have been in D.C before and been in the VOA office two blocks away from the Capitol. I have a relative who works there and they have never said anything bad about Yabaroow. He is a good guy who is the local liason of the VOA Somali to the manager (Fred guy). Yabaroow does not hire or fire, he only recommends those things to Fred and neither does he control the content of what is presented. You are the one who is trying to claim Yabaroow as your clan and giving ammo to the people accusing him of tribalism by pretending as if you have tribal stakes in the thing.

Also VOA is a foreign propaganda media of the American government. There is no shame in saying this. Their budget is from the U.S. State Department and at certain times of the day messages from the State Department have to be relayed on the radio in whatever local language. I don't know about you but most people consider that propaganda media of a government.

I don't know if I should laugh at your ignorance or your accusal of me talking out of my ass, but since I am charitable, I will laugh to both

I never claimed that Mr Yabarow was furthering a clan agenda, this was a claim made by his detractors and I refuted by saying that their agenda was clan motivated since they want to dethrone him. So, since you agreed with my basic assertion, there is no point to dwell on this fact.

Before he was appointed the Editor-in-Chief, Mr Yabarow did not have the capacity to fire or hire, but since then, he had this power. This is to the best of my knowledge and from what I have read from people who have intimate understanding of how the system works.

Of course, the VOA is financed by the State Department same way the BBC is financed by the British Government and both a the media arms of their government. But to call them a propoganda tool is an exaggeration and YES you are wrong in labeling it as such.
