The government even before 88 did it's best to silence the people with extra judecial killings and curfews in the main cities. In the little towns in the miyi it had a policy of collective punishment meaning innocent people were targeted simply because of qabil. The targeting of Isaaq's was not just in the north but also in the south in what is commonly known as the Jazera massacre.seemeyer wrote:What a lying c#nt this Voltage is the whole book is about the indiscriminte killing of the Isaq people, the title of the book is ""A governemnt at war with it's own people" and it doesn't just begin from 1988Voltage wrote: Read Rukia Omaar's book, the SNM once they were kicked out of Ethiopia in 1988 themselves pretended to be government soldiers and at night attacked Hargeisa and Burco attempting to get the people on their side who until that point were apathetic.
Why did the SNM rebellion start in 1982 but nothing happened to civilians or northern towns until the SNM crossed into Somalia .
What you are saying is true, but Issaq is doing the same thing towards inocent dulbahante cívlians rigth now.Username1 wrote:[

Unarmed Isaaq students protesting against the governments evil policies in the north and show solidarity with those suffering got attacked and killed by government forces simply for being Isaaq.
This targeting of Isaaqs culminated in the carpet bombing by south african mecenaries and mass
exidus of the whole northern population.
People like Voltage etl can argue that the regimes actions were a reaction but that still does not justify the governments actions targeting of innocent innocent Isaaq majority, be it Xammer or Hargeisa. The governments policies if studied objectively are clear, it targeted people by qabil and if your heart allows you to accept the truth.
The city is large by Somali standards. Only Mogadishu is larger. It is about 8x the size of Boosaaso (from my comparison on google maps). If you look at google maps it will give you an idea of how much the city has grown. Most of the pictures shown here capture a few of the areas of the city. You might be able to capture the entire city by taking an arial photograph or from an elevated vantage point.greenday wrote:Mashallah. What i want to know is how small is Hargeysa? it seems like it can be captured by one photo
Complete and utter nonsense. Only SSC militia-men who were engaged in conflict i.e. those who attacked the military bases.Kaggen wrote:
