Voltage, the scholars Hyper and I mentioned both agree that Niqab is part of Islam. They just differ on it's status. I personally agree with the opinion that it is highly recommended, AND NOT WAJIB. You, on the other hand, are claiming that A: Niqab is not part of Islam, B:It should be banned because Niqab presents security risks. In a nutshell, you are rejecting entire hadith and you have presented no evidence that Niqab is something which is not mentioned in Islamic texts. You also haven't presented any facts to show that Niqab presentes a security. The other stuff about personal indentity is a load of crap as Islam doesn't take this into consideration. Abti,cut the bull here, I am challenging you to prove that Niqab is not rooted in Quran and Sunnah. I have many proofs and hundreds of scholars, but what do you have apart from hearsay? If you are sincere, bring forth your proof; otherwise don't waste my time. We are interested in what Islam says- not the opinions of Siyad Bare worshipers.
