This is nonesense. Al-shabaab haven't made takfiir of the masses of the Sufis living in Somalia. Go listen to any of their talks. Most of their takfir is directed at Shariif and Ahlussunah wal jameeca leaders. Al-shabaab would NOT STRIP CITIZENSHIP of the sufis. I just don't believe this. Sufis are Muslims, and are a stand of ahlussunah wal jameeca. Atheists are murtadiin.

So again, it should be written in the constitution, that Somali citizenship should be tied into Islaam. Why are we demeaning Islaam? In western countries, TREASON might end up you being deported or even executed. Apostating from Islaam is HIGH TREASON against the state.

So again, I believe not only should gaal somalis be refused citizenship, but should be executed if they ever attempt to enter the country. As for the non Somali gaalo, they should be given permanent residency if they deserve it, but no citizenship.

As for the other Muslims, the same should apply.

disagree. with their formula, the country can be over taken by 20 million pakistanis and bangaladeshis. If they wanna sell the country at least they should consider a wealthy country like Japan.

1- I like the Indian way. You are no longer an Indian national as soon as you take another nationality. However, they give a long term residence to those who want to come back.

2- Somalis in Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya should always be considered as Somali citizens.

3- One generation rule: If one of your parents is Somali then you are somai too. Forget about grand parents.

There are Somali christians like Micheal Marianno who did more for Somalia than his muslim cousin Ina Godane. Besides i rather have hardworking chinese living in Somalia than lazy ass Arab.

If we are giving citizenships to none Somalis we should do that based on quality of the individuals. No automatic citizenship because of religion!

PS: there are somali christian/atheists who didn't apostosized, let's not be hasty
