Shawty,

If its a male, obviously he is really conservative. Doesn't only pray but prays a lot, prays the qiyam, does the all-nighter qiyams. Doesn't acknowledge the opposite gender at all, does other sunnah related stuff like fasting during the week... if he is a University student he stays in the musallah all day.. that kind of thing. Obviously is a Xaafidh of the Qur'an, knows issues of Fiqh, etc

If its a female, chick is a hijabi or niqabi. Does the same thing the dude does. Doesn't speak at all in front of mixed company (at all). Stays in the musallah all day. And knowledge is simialar to that of the dude.

When I think of wadaad, thats my imagery

BV, If you have problems with Somali dudes... other nationalities have the same sort of issues with regards to your definition of sexism, domestic duties, alcoholism, etc

bv
all iam saying is try to focus on the positives on each person instead of focusing on the negatives, they cant all be bad, there must be good faraxs where you live, and please let that long list of all the should's faraxs have to achieve before you aprove them die, try instead to make a wish list something you wish for but even if they are below your expectations try to give them a chance or look for something positive, your life will be soo much better and you will become less hatefull to your brothers,

I share a lineage and history with Somali men and that is where the affection starts and stops. I will not pretend their faults don't exist. I will not marry a Somali man just because he is Somali. Xadoo i xumeeyo wu i xumeeye, him being Somali won't make me feel better about it.

I am not perfect but me being imperfect is not an excuse for all of us to pat each others shoulders and accept the status quo.
Walaalo marry whoever rocks your boat.Aduunkan wax qasab la yedhaah ma jiran, qof kasta waa xor.Laakin ogow qof aad isku dhaqan iyo af tihiin wax ka wanaagsan ma jiran oo caruurtinana khalkhal kuma dhacayo iyo identy crises.Yeah, they have foults just like everybody in the world and pple are diffrent from eachother.Nin kasta oo somali ihi isku mid maaha, wax fiican iyo wax xunba way ka layhiin marka kii qalbigaaga jabiyey iska ilow. :)

Helwaa I am not talking about myself or marrying ajnabi. Sheekada halkaas maba joogto.

Abdisamad when I meet a farax on the streets I don't throw eggs at him. I don't hate anyone I am just honest about your faults. No one likes to hear it but someone has to say it. :)

We're not talking about me and any future courtship.
