There should be more tangible reasons for a couple to wed than marital copulation. When I think of marrying someone, I think of companionship, family, a long-term union, a best friend, someone I love, a home, a support network, etc. Intimacy falls in there, but don't you think it would be foolish to marry mostly for sex? No, I would be lying if I said otherwise, intimacy is important in a marriage. Its just overly prioritized, people get so lost in the glits and chemistry that they rush it and end up with a failed marriage, that's my point. Any man who goes in to it thinking he'll be having the best sex of his life every night, all night, all the time is setting himself up for a disappointment, same thing for whatever woman that thinks the same. Its acting on emotions & impulses, not on logic. Personally, I have immense respect for marriage as a reputable institution, never liked spouses who cheat on their spouses, men who be-little their wives, wives who gossip about their husbands, domestic abuse, etc. By saying people get married for sex, I see that as mocking the whole marriage thing. Because sex is meaningless without certain parameters i.e. halaal and with the right person. Its foolish to soil it.

Also, I know you like to blame men most of the time for poor performance in the bed room, but women are also culprits. Because they are either lazy (expecting their husbands to do all the work), ignorant about their own body & what does what, or simply clueless & awkward. It takes two.
