Let's face it,

If Congress doesn't pass a credible bill and Obama refuses to invoke the 14th amendment and raise the Debt Limit, then he is personal responsible for the US defaulting on it's loans. The Constitution explicitly states that the US's responsibility to pay its debt obligations is non-negotiable and hence it gives the President Executuve powers necessary to raise the debt ceiling. Obama should be held accountable. As they say, if you can't take the heat, get out of the damn kitchen.

I must say that it would be interesting to see the US default (even thought I doubt it will happen) but if it does i'd love to see the US empire crumble.
