Central Government creates STRONG unity, where as Federal System will create division and animosity between the different Somali clans, thus we'll forget to compete against our Foreign enemies.

Abdiweli is a die-hard PLer, here's him in Minneapolis at the annual Puntland Diaspora Forum in 2009 meeting with PL's aviations minister and Foreign Minister as well as other ministers on their visit to the PDF. Don't fool yourselves.

Its not going to work without considering the populations sxb, why should Bari have equals numbers of MPs with Awdal when I'm pretty sure it have twice the population? That over-representing the Awdal region which a lot of people will see as unfair.

Halkan in Canada, Ontario and Quebec has the most seats in the capital, and rightfully so, they have more than half of the population in the country.
the country can't have more than 180mps thats not good. keep it small and simple. i don't care if one region has less population than the other, atleast all regions will have 10mps elected from them. its fair for everybody. i know what you mean for example in south somalia banaadir and gedo has the most population whereas bakool and bay have the least but atleast everybody is gonna be represented equally. :up:

p.s. viva awdal :up:
Look I honestly have nothing against Awdal, Boorama is a great city and I look forward to the day where I could visit every city in every region. But the point is why should those southern regions be under represented? I'm not saying lets have more MPs, I'm saying lets kala qeybi. Awdal should have between 5-8 MPs Max.

I'm not being a hypocrite. If a Central Government is impossible, than what Shirib said is the best solution.

Shirib wrote:I support federalism, I don't support semi autonomous states.

At the end of the day the federal government needs to get the final say

Gedo=10mps
Banaadir=10mps
Lower Juba=10
Middle Juba=10
Lower shabelle=10
Middle shabele=10
Bay=10
Bakool=10
Hiiraan=10
Galgaduud=10
Mudug=10
Nugaal:10
Bari:10
Sanaag=10
Sool=10
Togdheer=10
Waqooyi galbeed=10
Awdal=10

this is nice and simple=180 total

the problem is that each region there different tribes, however some tribes own the whole region by themselves
for example Gedo is 100% Mareexaan but Galgaduud its 40% Mareexaan 40% Habar gidir and 20% Dir, so for instance in Gedo the 10mps are mareexaan but in Galgaduud 4 mps are Mareexaan 4 are Habar gidir and 2 are Dir you get it? cause the population are obviously gonna vote for the man from the same tribe. so we should worry about the tribes and not the population of different of different regions. :up:

The only people who are afraid of federalism are people who are homeless and Don't have enough territory , I agree with Monk Somalis don't know how to share thus they should have a federalism every clan community its own region.

In 2009 You supported TFG in ousting the Al shabab from the country.

In 2010 you supported Al shabab and Godane in taking over south Somalia and Pland.

Your logic was Somaliland should be recognized and Al shabab should govern the rest of Somalia. And together the 2 somali nations would be an Ally of Ethiopia. And Islamic South Somalia and a secular democratic Somaliland, both being allies to Ethiopian christian dictatorship.

I do not have to explain how mentally retarded your reasoning is. But i do wonder how many leaves one must chew to come up with that shit.
