Insha'Allah coming years kismaayo/jubaland will be blessed with peace and prosperity.

I'm far more worried about Bosaaso killings and injustice.

I wouldn't mind leaving rule of Kismayo to the Marexan, but the issue is that they would use this position against us. We will always be their biggest economic competition in Kista, wether they rule, we rule or even jareers rule.

Just like in the days of Barre, I'm afraid the marginalisation of MJ is Marexan's mode of survival. We're too distantly related to care about each other and too closely related not too be in each other's way.

Marka the tension between these two families is nothing personal, just a fact of life.

Siyaad Barre, was not a Marexaan tribal leader but a Head Of a Friggin State. He did whatever He felt He Had to do as the Head of that State. Secondly Marexaan Has clashed with the USC in Kismaayo, clans in Jubbada Hoose such as Gaaljecel, have a Century and ongoing War with Ogadeen, and in '98 with the Majerteen. Whether its this extremist group, Harti, Hawiye, etc. the average MR feels that with Gedo, Baardheere etc. being landlocked if Kista is not in MR control they are being robbed.
