So the camel thief is a national hero now? You might believe that bullshit but don't expect those of us with more than 2 brain-cells to fall for it.Who give two shits if he killed your 'great uncle twelve-times removed'? By that logic we should all consider Ina Godane a national treasure.

Stop figuring in tribalism. No "group" is treacherous, people can be treacherous in clans like your adeer Qaybdiid. Little light heart kaftan here though when forces from Hawiye and Habar Gidir were needed for the Sayid's depleting Dervish forces, they were brought. However these guys have never seen firearms or a battle with firearms so when the fighting started, the Sayyid asked why they were running towards gunfire and the response was expedited gas intestinal gas. They would run toward gunfire scream ar gama aa dhuuso aa dhuuso

Haragwafi, you are boring. I used objective modern article in a modern American news magazine that had no reason to be biased and used multiple and objective sources. You used the colonial writings and observations of Colonial Britain. Britain = the enemy. Why would you post their propaganda as objective reference on a fight they were involved in with a Somali as if they were objective onlookers rather than involved participants? You seem like you are still under British boots. :?

It is like someone bringing British writings and observations about the American war of independence and then giving the impression only their writing is objective.

Voltage in my opinion newsweek hardly holds any water as it was not present in Somaliland nor do they actually knew the biography and early life of Igare as being part of the Adan Police . The fact remains the Obese Ina Abdille Hassan use to beg the British and Italians the many letters he wrote is present. You will never convince me Ina Abdille Hassan was better than Igarre so save your breath.

i dont lie sxb.. just tell us the truth. your folks used to put you to bed to the the words "CAYDIID BA SOO SOCDO SEEXO SEEXO". Well you don't have to be worried anymore. Caydiid is long gone, and Qeybdiid is running round Mudug like a headless chicken. There will be no repeat of 91, and will personally protect you if anything goes down. I am a man of honour

I don't care to convince you about the British shoeshine you hail because he is from your clan. I only wish to bring the information to the gallery.
He was dispatched from India, and brought with him an enterprising Somali who had once worked as a bootblack polishing British footwear. Musa Farah would serve one British overlord after another. He would gain power, wealth, and influence beyond anything he could have imagined, including a sword of honor from King Edward VII.

I really don't mean to be crass but I get the image of asexual prostitution.

Melo, I think you know I am Sade Marehan sxb. However, I only brought that light heart kaftan as a footnote from history. I will be sensitive to hurt feelings in the future.

I just had to reassure you that Qeybdiid has no chance of implementing the final solution. You are a safe

My grandmother used to tell us of how the Ogaadeen hated him more than anyone else, for drafting them to go to war, pay zakaat on their livestock, etc.

She said they were ignorant & lazy, waking up for fajr alone used to bother them. The old women would say "Waa la is jaribi, waa la is jaribi!"

She was around 12 or so when he died and lived in his camp for much of her young life, as he was her abti. She would tell us all sorts of stories about him.

Allahu naxariisto whatever he was, its irrelevant because he's not here to defend himself today. It does no one any good to talk ill of a man who's been dead for close to a century now, specially by circulating English tabloids known for their propaganda and orientalism.
