My uncles were part of the wadaado that were ready to negotiate with USC once they reached kismaayo to save many civilian life, but the first thing the USC fighters asked for were women, imagine the wadaads being told we will seize fire "hadaad naago aan wasno noo keentiin". My abti along with his small wadaad crew (probably 50 and from every qabiil) decided they had no option but to declare Jihaad, they fought the moryaans but they were over ran and killed. Even if Caydiid was a rational man, he had no control over his barbaric fighters who committed unspeakable crimes against defenseless civilians and in the end that is what he will be remembered for not some failed politician who wrote a book and had a vision.

Deal with what I asked you, instead of diverting the subject. You created this topic to insult a dead man and bring his sanity into question and have your clansmen call him moryaan. yet others are banned for insulting other dead people. seems to me, there is a double standard going on around here.
Here Here.

Insulting Caydiid should warrant also a ban the same way people get tossed into snet lock-up when MSB is insulted.

There's a difference between insulting a person and discussing his/her legacy.

Insult:
a) I hope that bastard burns in hell
b)Fuk that mother fuker

Discussing legacy:
a) He was not a good leader
b) even if he was, his moryaan troops were loose canons

aideed could never rule somalia because aideed was motivated by qabil and backed by qabil. if aideed had a well trained rebel forces who only were after the goverment not to take revenge on a certian clan and insured the safety of the public and could replace the security forces (police, army) of the goverment then aideed would have been successful but aideed was a man on a mission to kill, loot and rape and u cannot start a goverment with those things.

anyway people keep saying "daarod" this "daarod" that, well there is no such a thing as "darood" unity infact the biggest opposition to the goverment were majerteen and even the ogadeen were against siyad barre even a sub clan of marehan was against siyad barre and told siyad barre to leave gedo when he went there.

siyad barre did a lot of thing wrong and also did a lot of things right but siyad barre was not a theif nor a qabiliste. all these people who fought against siyad barre were all in the goverment

sillanyo, aideed, morgan, riyaalo and so forth were all in the goverment so siyad barre was replaced by corrupt individuals who infact killed, raped and looted while they were in the siyad barre goverment then placed all the blame of the regime on siyad barre.

Jaalle Siyaad sitting in Buurdhuubo for two years and counter striking UNC forces was what made Aidid and his movement to fail. While president of any country is still in his country no international body would recognize a rebel group and that was one thing that many of you overlooked, a political score MSB delivered to his foes.

Like Abdiwahab said, Caydiid was somehow unlucky because it was the same Hawiye whose freedom he faught for that let thim down...It was the Abgaals, Murursada and Xawaadle that changed the war into clan and these three tribes alone were responsible for almost all the unarmed civilian deaths...Especially the Abgaal..I heard that Abgaal milias invaded A Daarood home to rape and kill the children and then all the sudden they came across a darker-looking kid and they were like "Ar heey xaas la madowyahay ma dhuxulaas cunay". They couldn't believe that a Darood could have a dark-looking people....
