When it suits you in terms of politics but i doubt if it is something you can pick and choose when to be Somali.
I see your point but it doesn't make sense.

Well I post in a lot of forums. Initially I joined because I wanted to learn more about Somalia but it seems, and as my reputation will judge, I have been left highly critical about the entire basis of "Somalinimo".Jaidi wrote:Fact anyone even posts on this site, obviously shows the concept holds some sway. Why not post on any other site if there are no common features and its a false conceptDoesn't necessarily have to be understood politically.

you can be Somali when its cool to be Somali, when there are advantages and benefits in it for you but when there is lack of any of that; you can discard it without Somalinimo meaning anything to you hence why Somalia is in a bad shape because its citizens careless about the country more about themselves, their sole purpose being in expense of Somali let me get ahead
ma ifahamtey?

Ask me how I know you are as dumb as a pile of rocks?MrSinister wrote:this voltage nigga is the biggest emo in somalinet. i weep for our future because of mentally soft niggas like him
Well for starters time and time again history has proven the most jingoistically nationalistic people, in fact the people usually having a need of ethno-nationalism are usually the individually weak and needy. It comes down to the whole "group" thing. The weakest is the most invested while the well off is the least dependent. People who need ethno-centrism and act like the world is falling down around them them if they don't have are the most individually weak and most individually needy. Check yourself kiddo, your little weep up there boiled down to weeping for a reason.

I get using it to your advantage but how can you discard yourself

The lack of stable government doesn't mean there is no Soomaalinimo. afar tuug do not represent Soomaali oo dhan.
Now take those treacherous sods that are chearleading for the kenyan bantus to liberate them from their fellow somali brother. To the Kenyan bantu they are Somalis regardless. They can sell their soul all they want to Ethios or bantus but at the end of the day they are Somalis to them.
Like i said, i see what you mean but still it doesnt make sense.
And don't bother try to explain or justify your treacherous position

So far all we got are cries, attacking me for daring to question, some emotional backlash, and a nostalgia none in here experienced. Meel ha idin ka bixiso we all know waligeed maanan arage.

somalinimo means nothing unless it comes before qabiilnimo and tolka.
we can't be true Somalis unless we restrict or abolish our unwavering loyalty for tribalism.
