That's unfortunate, it seems that some introspection is better than no introspection. You must evaluate it and come to a conclusion, sometimes that conclusion is not the status quo. It is through two forces, that of change and that of staying the same, that you can see what needs to be improved. Now you muslims don't have to change your articles of faith, but some of the positions that relate to everyday life, the structure of society, and some of the laws regarding it may need a new critical sight. That is different than changing the religion as whole.
It is like those Americans who say if you don't like the way it is, then don't leave. We should all know that is a false logic.
