Different strokes indeed. I never intended to insult anyone. A typical life structure ain't bad, and that isn't the reason for my post. I say skepticism, but it's more fatalism, tbh. I'm holding back a lot lol :D

I need a therapist.

the rest is unnecessary.
What about his past of drug dealing and skirt chasing?
Depends on how long ago it was  , yesterday? last week? last month? last year? no lol, but if we're talking years ago than who am I to judge somebody based on the person they no longer are. Besides, if it's been years since any of that happened all the the complications that would arise from it (baby mama drama, sti's, ect) would have already be known and theres no need to test.

Yeah you've got to be extremely diligent when choosing a spouse, and we're all better off erring on the side of caution but how can you dehumanize and lower the person you're planning on holding above nearly everybody else in your life to ask them to get tested for sti's? credit check and criminal record are all cool, but I'm very uncomfortable with asking somebody to put themselves in that situation.

Overlooking probable herpes and that sobriety chip, cause of financial standing.
Sweetness.

Looking back, I'm starting to regret not taking those opportunities, had I known most intelligent women couldn't care less about past promiscuity. I always told myself, "don't do it dude, you're gunna go to hell, and no one will wanna marry you". Perhaps partying a bit would've taken my mind off things

What can I say?
Regardless of a dude's past, money speaks louder. It's been made clear to me.

 why would you think that, I said id do a credit check but i didn't say that would make or break anything. You can make half a million a year and have shitty credit, and then you can also make 20K a yr and have great credit. And how am I overlooking herpes, if it's been 5 yrs since you last did anything of that context then you would know if you caught something. Its not like herpes or any other STI will just pop up half a decade after you catch it  but you can test somebody who was still messing around 6 months ago and get false negatives.

Please, you should know well enough that herpes may lie dormant for a decade, or more so.
And I'm still convinced, when it's all stacked up, money comes out on top.

But whatever, we don't judge someone's past. Zanis for muninahs and mumins for zanias.
That's how it goes, right?

Noway will herpes lie dormant for a decade after exposure. Inbetween flare ups yeah you can go a decade, but typically it takes no more than 3 months for the first flare up.

Thats a bit too naive though, especially in todays world. Of course I would prefer somebody who avoided that track and kept their head down, lakiin if I meet somebody who has their diin together, their career together, is family oriented, has a great and humble personality, then do you really suggest I write them off because of things that happened half a decade ago?
