Somalis are in Europe only for the benefits. They should at least wave the union Jack as they wait in line at the welfare office
You're wrong, even if you ask a 9yrs boy who is born here and never been in somalia he will tell you i'm somali. Most of us work hard and dont take any benefits. We've nothing in common with these gaalos we liv with and they will always see us as intruders, terrorist who came here to steal their jobs and women. They cant stand ur deen, ur clothses and the way you look. They will never accept you till you become one of them, ilaahy baaba quraankisa ku sheegayba. We're greatful for their hosbitality and how the welcomed us to their country with open arms. But we will always be like a guest in their country, respect their lows and our bags will always be packed ready to leave any minut.

good thing theres more somalis back home then there are here
Never been much of a fan.

The Somalis "back home" have torn the country to pieces and continue to do so. About half would hate me simply because of who my father is, and the other half because of who he worked for. Let the Somalis "back home" keep their "country", or whatever's left of it. The country I was born in may not exist in 15-20 years, so how does it benefit me in any way to claim its nationality?

Perhaps if there is monetary gain in claiming Somali citizenship, after having paid my dues to Canada, I may consider it.

These are the people who I may not owe but want to help with all my heart. They could care less what tribe you are from. They only care if you can save them from rape (6:30 and on)

Alpha I could care less of nationality. Those squiggly lines on the planet have no meaning to me.
But this is an area of the earth who I share a bond with. Much stronger than even blood relation.
Thats a land some of us call somaliweyn.

I read everything you wrote.
You might just have a writing disability and can't write what you really mean.

mcali,

Like I've already mentioned, any desire to give comes from charity, not a cultural ideal centred on responsibility. Give, by all means. There are many who need it. But I won't be swayed by emotional back stories. I've come across my share of people who've lied about rape in order to get refugee status. And I'm certain I'm not alone on that.

I used to believe in a "Somaliweyn". Sorry to burst your bubble, but it has never and will never exist. "Somaliweyn" is entirely political and nothing but a "squiggly line on the planet". There are probably more groups and parties fighting each other in the Horn than there are all across the continent. It ain't happening.

Gör det då och blondera ditt hår också och gift dig med en liten blondin som ger dig barn med blåa ögon.Och när du blir gammal och de slänger dig på ett ålderdomshem och du ligger hela dagarna i din egen shit kom ihåg då mina ord.
