Salax malaydiray was one of the greatest Somali poets in the late 19 century

Sheikh Bashiir Sheikh Yusuf was an anti Colonial Sheikh and freedomfighter

Cali Jamac haabin was a great poet from berbera in the late 19 century

Axmed Guray Xuseyn was the Habar magaadle tribal chief who took part of the wars against the Abyssinians

Axmed jimcaale aka Axmed Mohamad guleed was one of the founding fathers of the SNM and its first chairman

Sultan Diiriye was the Isaaq Sultan in the mid 19 century

Xiino xiiray jamac is an old Dhulbahante poet and comedian one of the last remaining old Somali odayaal alive

Xaaji muse farax igare was a tribal warrior of the begin 20th century

Ismaciil Xayd aflow was a Somali poet of the early 20th century

Lama speaks his mind adeer. He gives credit where it is due. I admire Imaan. I met her in Italy awhile back and that woman is smart, somali and beautiful; what else should we demand? Yes, she shouldn't wed that guy, she should have been my sugar mommy. But, she is a wonderful somali worth admiration.

I wouldn't go as far as admiring her, but I do respect her. Both in the early 90's and now, she has been a big advocate in getting awareness and money for victims in the Somali tragedy. And she's never spoken ill of Somalia or its people.

Shirib, you got my point. As I mentioned ealier I admire myself the most. I have alot of dead somalis as heroes but there are just so many and becuase of space I can't write all their names.

Hyper, she is a good somali ambassador. She is not like other somali models who start talking about their disfigured punanis to make a career. She is an entrepreneur. She brings awareness to somalia's problems. She is beautiful.

What did we inherit from our nomadic forefathers, including the ones posted here? Hate, poverty, never ending tribal wars and misery. The list goes on and on, all negative.
