No one is supposed to be surprised when it comes to these Somali singers/celebrities. They are the weirdest bunch.

I've seen Maryan Mursal in Dubai chain smoking in Souk Dahab (one after another and another) and tossing a boggie to an under aged son of a former president. I've witnessed a visibly drunk Hassan Adan Samatar picking up 40 year old hoyoos in a Range Rover in 2 AM.

A kiss by what seems to be her husband in public is nothing compared to what the other people are known to do. These Somali singers are more controversial than Hollywood celebrities.

As for kissing in public, I would never do that but live and let live.

I am curious, is there money to be made by becoming a 'fanaan'. Being in the West, one has options careerwise, so what is the deal for choosing to become a fanaan? I know people who play insturments and sing as a hobby but keep a day job....as for the picture....meh!
