How are you more represented when i have 16 seats? Plus i suggest you stick to trying to claim Kismaayo and leave the Federal Seats to those who are known to lead

Marehan is a single, united, and inviolable sub-clan same as Abgaal CIsmaan is a single, united, and inviolable sub-clan. Take Mudulood and the stuff they express in symbolic terms and guuroow chants to people like Isaaq in Burco and Ciise Djibouti. You are not going to tell me you are in anything but a symbolic unity with the independent Wacdaan, the Udeejeen in Buulo-Burte, etc.

You as Abgaal are at 9 in the Parliament and that consitutes the Somali understanding of a "sub-clan".

Correction Garhajis got 10.If it was in a parliament based on population and not this twisted false system they would have gotten atleast 16 mps since HY alone is larger than Dhulbahante +Warsangeli combined (1940s British Somaliland population survey). Well in 1925 in Jubbaland there were more camels belonging to Talxe (a sub-sub-sub-sub-sub clan of Marehan) than the population of each individual Isaaq sub-clans in north Somalia.

It sucks to be more less numerous than a bunch of camels belonging to a sub-sub-sub-sub-sub clan of Marehan. I wonder how many camels each individual Isaaq sub-clan had in the 1940's forget about 1925.

Comparing a number of animals to a population of humans is just stupid . Of course in some cases, a type of animal will outnumber people. In the US, there are 6 chickens to every human. In Somalia, there are more camels than people.

Dude one subclan of Marexaan and that it's not among the bigger ones owned 167,000, while all of Habar younis in Somaliland had 270,000. That one Sub clan of Marexaan had 61% of the total camels that all of Habar Yonis had, If we were to add all of the Marexaan, it would far exceed that number.

But lets all be real, these numbers are not reliable just because it was made by a colonial power.

Unless you have the total Marehan camels back then you have no legs to stand on, it is possible some of your sub clans did not have many camels at all as some are farmers/hunters. Garhajis in British Somaliland had 370,000 camels, the Garhajis of Hawd/Ethiopia who make up 40% of the Garhajis population and are known for having many camels were not included in the survey.
