Walahi, I barely have time to search anyone, closed my fb too. Not a sociable person here.
Work is good, can't complain just thankful even when things get complicated there. I should start class next semester insha Allah

And a lot of people add me cause LinkedIn is linked with your gmail so I think requests get put out automatically lol

Hyper - I'm OCD, too. Checking & re-checking to make sure that my stove is off every night before hitting the bed, checking on the main door, then checking again after my kid brother comes home, between the stove & main door, garage, patio door is a total of probably 6 times. Your skin will dry out if you keep taking that many showers. Skin has natural oils that you're washing away each time you shower with hot/warm water. If you must take that many showers, at least shower with cooler water and always use a moisturizer like olive oil immediately after shower before drying off completely, it helps protect the skin from dryness and specially eczema. As for eating, eat what you enjoy and keep taking your multivitamins.

I saw that your cousin was in the Ramadan Qur'an competition, good on him. I liked his recitation. Different from his father's, but still Mashallah!

Good luck with grad school. It's a totally different environment than undergrad years. Expect to see a lot of older people in your classes, even retired folk, everyone is back in school again.

My gmail isn't active much which is linked to my LinkedIn, maybe I should link it to my school email? Probably. Are you voting this November? Planning on sitting this one out.

Hyper,
you have anemia because you are lacking iron, you need start including in your diet iron rich foods e.g liver, kidneys, beef, spinach.
otherwise your will keep getting the following symptoms: constant headache, weakness, sore muscles, not being able to concentrate e,t,c

If we both work then something's gotta give. Having left overs will become a reality. I'd prolly prep for meals during the weekend so that it's easier to make a meal when I come home from work. If I don't work then  A hot meal every night and the breakfast as much as possible.

He's got to be worth it though.

Lilaahiya said the truth and the reality...

Men should either be men and be the breadwiners of the household...In that case the lady of the house should be a great housewife and bring even warm water for his feet when he sets his feet at home...warm plate and warm bed...

Or

He should accept the fact that if his wife is working like him, it is a must that he helps her with the house chore

It is simple. No one can have both ways....Gabadha is not a robbot...Help her..as she is having babies, getting prgnant etc etc

The question is strange. You cook and clean to live; it's a given.

I hate left overs. I guess you gotta make compromises.

As long as she takes care of herself, takes care of our children (makes sure they eat well, dress well, finish up their school work etc) and respects me by listening to me when I talk to her, I don't mind cooking and cleaning for her. A good mother and a good wife deserves to be pampered.

I'm not a lady but I'll wade in with my 2 cent's worth as a very straight heterosexual guy. It all depends.

If I'm the sole breadwinner working 8-10 hours a day and my wife is stay-at-home wife, then I expect her to cook and clean. I can't be expected to cook and clean when I get home at 6 PM while she's been sitting home chilling all day.

If she is the sole breadwinner and I'm the stay-at-home dad, I'd cook and clean. It is only fair.

If, on the other hand, we both work full-time we'll divide the cooking and cleaning along with other house chores evenly.

So it is really simple. You women as usual like to complicate things and create drama for no good reason.
