EliteSomali, apparently, Sade elders are holding meetings with Non-Kablalax clan elders in Mogadishu. With such acts, undermining Daarod unity, I don't think the Kismaayo issue will be resolved anytime soon. Sade and Kablalax should've been the first two major clans to hold meetings from elders, politicians to militarily official. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

Some people's vision is merely blinded with the smell of a JVA rejuvenation and I pity those that favor friendship based on 50-50 deals over kinship.

Dangirl has every right to express herself. God knows if she was Sade we would be saying all kinds of good things about her. Dannie keep up the Jihad, may God be with you. Aamiin 8-)

Coldoon, most Sade I know are behind the IGAD Jubbaland conference.

Even a darood unity is still nothing short of repugnant and as primitive and selfish as a marehan only state or an ogaden only state. Everyone keeps talking about marehan or ogaden, has anyone ever addressed what will be of everyone else? The small defenseless minorities who won't be able to have a say or influence in a land they, their parents and their grandparents were born and raised? Minorities should always be protected from the tyranny of the majority; whether that tyranny is a physical occupation or coercing them to comply with the agendas of the majority. people indegenous to the place need to come together and create honest and genuine state that benifits all. laakiin dad wada raba ineed kaligood noolaadan baa meesha ilaahy dhigay.

Any conference involving IGAD, Kenya, Ethiopia, or the Hassan Administration, will result in a Jubbaland where the stakeholders will be brought down to the same equal platform as the Non-Stakeholders. An Ceyr will be equivalent to Harti or Ogaden or Marehan in Jubbaland, from Gedo to Kismaayo.

A simple Puntland-like formation is simple for Jubbaland. Let Kablalax and Sade talk, after they unite, let them give the minority their due rights, like the Harti have done to the Madhibaan and Carab Salax in Puntland.

Write this down to be announced; the number of ergo that will announce the state, pick the president, and name parliament will be exactly 300. Do you know how much Marehan will get? In and around 160-180 (120 from Gedo, the rest from Buaale district in Middle Jubba and Kismaayo district from Lower Jubba). That's upwards to 60% of the entire votes. The rest will share 40% of which Ogaden will get 85 which is about 28% of the seats.

How did this turn from a positive unity thread to a mini skirmish? :mindblown:
I give up on skinnies and their bravado, I just hope the important men on the ground are smarter than snet's armchair warriors.

If it was up to me, I'd formulate a power-sharing plan that gives evey major sub-clan some of the power.

1- President : Ogaden
2- Vice President : Marehan
3- Interior Minster: Harti
4-Finance Minster : Hawiye

Best possible outcome. The leadership in Kista is shared among brothers. Now the works of creating a united Jubbaland army should be on focus and creating a new identity as Jubalanders.
