The Kenyans are violating UN and US sanctions by allowing this continued export and even advocating for it. As such, there will be consequences for this action.

By denying the AMISOM contingent from Mogadishu to visit Kismayo, the Kenyans have violated the AMISOM's mandate to cooperate with each other. At the end of the day,
Kismayo falls under the Kenyan "AMISOM" sector not MAdoobe or any tribal force.

Hawiyehs are very funny after the botched operation the take pictures of the so called "delegation" and display it as "evidence". Who do you think you are fooling ?They selectively took pictures of what they thought would be ok to overcome the public embarassment and they left out the ring leaders aka the JVA criminals who were enroute to ensure that the coup leaders aka indocade and Gobale who were on the process of planning a coup in Kismaayo.They destributed the photos to the media houses in Xamar and think that we can buy their lies. The media houses in Xamar are all amateurs who fabricate stories that are mostly unfounded and in the past few weeks have been instigating unrests in Kismaayo.

I wish the Kismaayo admin takes its security seriously and thoroughly search any plane that lands in Kismaayo from Xamar because.These so called "delegates" can never be trusted as they might hide AS elements with their explosives ready to harm the civilians.

X Playa is right. This isn't about Int' Community, Hilary Clinton, US, AMISOM, etc. Hilary Clinton will probably laugh if she gets a call from the Somali President about this. Somalia is divided into different Countries and their allied militias. Right now in Kismayo it is KDF and Ogaden. In Xamar it is Uganda/Burudndi and Hawiye. At this point I doubt even the President Himself can come to Kismayo, let alone people like Gobaale. Infact Kenya didn't even kick them out, they said You can enter the city but You're on Your own security wise and the local militias there were not gonna protect them.


Bottom line is there is too much distrust amongst Somalis and there has to be a protocol. Gen Diini the Somali Army Commander was just in Kismayo last week but He didn't come in some secret plane.
