Shirib, Wallahi I'm not looking for your acute minded opinions in my topic. So please keep ur opinions to urself. We are a family that have been in the west too long. We are educated as much as you are. We have considered everything u said. However, we are over looking those minor things that you are mentioning because u r a guy who has gotten so used to the lifestyle here...Micno nalama lahan. All I asked was for u guys to tell me a city u know that is safe and affordable. Ma fahantay walaalkiis?

Hargeisa is great, but Sheekh and Borama have best primary and secondary education as well as being quiet and easy going. Also all three cities have lovely fresh air and environment. Burco is like a somali Sparta - conservative, xenophobic and militant.

I second Malaysia. If you still want to take them to Somalia, take them to Boorame{ there are quite good schools there}. Don't even consider Hargeysa, too much dhaqan celis caruutaa sayicayya.

I just can't believe, as a one time crush ( u haf it on me) that you wouldn't call me, knowing that I went to East Africa and see the lives my close relatives were leading all though they took their kids over there from here.


You wanna the truth..there is nothing comparable to the Kenyan Education..girl I sat down with a teenager relative who was born in the state of VA who now in whatever the flip they call high school over there "form blah blah ". And girl I was grounded to find out the kid had advanced Uni education..while I was there I can recall seeing a personal after school home teacher..their parents were extremely strict .. They would have them do school thing daily
Life was easy and simple in Nairobi..keep in mind my friend that suju kids always excell in UNi whenever they study here..I once remember escorting a visiting teenager Uni prospect ( Somali girl) and she was just shocked at the material.. She was like " but I had this in grade 5


Btw, forget about somaliland or Somalia's education.. Every Faraxa, Ali dheere and jacfar opened schools with redicalous names such as " British school" or "blooming private ". All are just so rudimentary .. The only school one can speak of in all of Somalia is Abaarao Tech..it is run by a white American kid

I'd say Hargeisa. My eedo lives there right now and has been there since 2003. My cousins were there but they all are in Canada and have finished school or doing advanced degrees at this point.

I would honestly say you also should explore Tanzania esp Dar Es Salam.

Defenately Dar es salaam, from there u can also take a boat to Zanzibar island takes only 20 min. Mikumi National Park is about 300 km from Dar es salaam.

I'm at work...so I just called my parents. It is a tie between Caabudwaaq and Boorame. We have connection in both too. So We will know what to do by tomorrow insha allah

Hargeisa second capital city of Somalia is not more developed than Xamar. We catched the second capital city of Somalia within 2 years
