Come on, guys. You're discouraging our correspondent & forcing him not to write another informative piece in the near future with your nagging and never-ending criticism. He clearly had his own reasons as to why he made the ending the way he did. Anyone ever agreed with the way a favorite book, a TV show or movie ended? I rest my case.

The story, most importantly, was rich & informative and everyone (including myself) had a different ending in my mind but the author has his own mind too. Let's support & encourage our aftahan & stand behind them, rather than being typical Maryooley & arguing with him about how he ended the sheeko.

Maryooley!

Twist, asxante.

It is good when people talk about the ending of the story it shows that they have enjoyed the earlier part. Insha Allah, time permitting, I will write a story that these youngsters can relate to.

In the meantime, ciid mubaarak; you have less than 48 hrs to go, soomaha?

My pleasure, brother-man.

It's the effect of Hollywood, I think. And you're right, the story kind captivated our imagination & all this commotion is an indication that we longed it to continue further, I guess. It kinda touched the Somali inside all of us, either the old ones like myself who can, at least, partially relate to (even if a word of mouth) how the life and the legal system in the countryside of the motherland was, or the youngsters who were either born or grew up in the West who want learn about it, it touched us in one way or another.

On behalf of all (or at least most of us), we thank you for the time and effort you put into creating & writing it and we look forward to your future projects, sxb.

PS: It depends, abti. If the Eid is on Thursday then yeah, 48 hours or less. But I heard some people even suggesting it might be on Friday so we'll see.

This dude is explaing some elements of this piece and check the traditional dances from 2,2

Fascinating; somalis (except for the Banaadir coast(ilaa Baraawe) have the same kind of culture. If you travel to Taleex, Boraame, Qabri Dahare, NFD, Beledweyne, Baay, it is the same.

Someone sent me a PM and came with a business proposition concerning this story. I am flattered.
