Incredulous Justifications for FGM?

Here's the thing. Some of these shuyookh look at the West and see that the girls there are promiscuous and they obviously haven't had their privates messed up. Therefore, their logic goes that if you do the procedure, they will not have the incentive to go out there and be promiscuous.

It's a messed up way of thinking.

not even that bro, is way before the west this ruling. imam shafi'i 's madhab is wajib both male and female, maliki and hanafi is sunnah and hambali is favourable ( mostahab) . they only disagree how much to be cut inches and length that should cut.

So hang on, I understood this part, there are haddith that are dubious, easy to understand, fair enough, easy to brush off. But then you went on to say that there are madhabs that say that FGM is wajib/sunnah/mostahab and these ruling are based on 3 dubious haddith? Doesn't that then call into question the validity of the other rulings? What does that say about their credibility?
