Kukri, my clan is my only connection to Somalia. That's how primarily expressed my "Somalinimo" through my clan. My sense of connection to Somalia is so superficial I would be the biggest foreigner there. Just took me a while to connect the dots.

Lol when we got to US soil to transfar there were two men waiting asked me my name and told me to follow LOL. I laughed because it was ridiculous, they probably already had my itinerary and why I was in South Africa not to mention puled me from my classmates. 45 minutes I was running to catch my plane

They can be well off and well educated, but if a young Muslim has difficulty integrating and socializing with mainstream society, they are vulnerable to radicalization
