What are with this men and women comparisons? The prophet listed tworeasons as to why men have been given more responsibility than women. I remember one of them.

1. Men, when it comes to the religion, have got an edge on the women because men never take breaks from their religious duties. This is all by Allah's doing. Men in general and assuming they are pious and god fearing men do not miss prayers or fasting or umrah. Women on the other hand, by God's doing, do miss some of this religious obligations. It's not their fault at all but this is one reason the prophet listed. Think of it though. If a man and a woman are both pious and God fearing and they do not miss their obligations doesn't the man always surpass the woman because during the time she is on her God given break, he is praying and fasting which means he is always got more deeds and ajar than her.

2. The prophte also said women are deficient in intelligence and the evidence he used was the fact that two women equal one men in witnesses.

I don't need science to prove anything when the prophet(saw) already said it.

Without women men are nothing, and vice versa. Just like how Adam had Hawa(alayhimusalaam) to make the ummah that we are today, we also require the help of the opposite gender. Evol my last post was general and not regarding you or anyone else in the thread, sorry for not making that clear.
