Welcome to maturity sxb. :D you have finally made it!!
Weddings are some of the funnest weekends I've ever had.

It's like a birthday party. No one actually cares that the earth has rotated around the sun "x" amount of times since they were born. It's just a randomly chosen moment of significance and a good excuse to get everyone together for a celebration. Life would be boring without that

A man who competes with his wife's earnings I don't think loves her very much or he suffers from egoistic issues. Stay away from those type of men. Secondly in Islam what's ours is ours and what's his is ours. Alhamdulilah. Why stress with 9-5.. I would happily be a stay at home wifey. As easily as I could be out there making a dollar or two.

@Sophi, I never had a drink in my life (and not going to as I was never interested in alcohol) and never have been to a night club either, can you believe? But swinger parties? My # 1 wish to Santa every year. :eat:

I told you the truth, Soph. I aint interested in religion AND still have character and decency.

What you're forgetting is the fact that I am - and will always be - Somali, young lady. You don't have to be religious to be a decent human being.

What about if the woman is the one competing, either making equally or more than him and accepts her.. Does that also mean she doesn't love him enough and is suffering from egoistic issues? and would a better solution be to drop her and go for the stay home wifey, who will basically do her things and leeching

Some men though admire women, who is competent, not sure if it's a bad thing......A good looking woman with some is just what they want and need

ps: always assumed Amira was the whip cracking type so I must stop with these stereotypes :whew:

 Dude we weren't saying you are not capable of virtue because you aren't a fan of organized religion, like the rest of us. Let me guess you are a humanist?

Easy with the young lady thing, it is a tad patronizing.

I don't think you follow my sense of humour. :notsure:

Are you serious or you're just messing with me?

What do you make of this statement:

"I like - and will always like - Somalinet, Sulfur." :notsure:

lolz

I am not comfortable with putting myself into any category to be honest. But some might say I might be an agnostic? Don't know and don't care. If I have to describe myself I would rather say 'confused'.

PS: What about if I am older than you? Can I get a pass with the 'young lady' thing? ;)

PPS: I quite enjoy your humor but I thought you were curious in this instance and I was trying to be (kinda) straightforward with the answers. Or am I missing something?

EDIT: LOL my bad. It didn't look like you were addressing her with the "young lady" part, it's almost 5 am and I can barely keep my eyes open.....Do continue
