i think usc did speed up the toppling of Said bare, however 70%-75% of Somali republic troops where in , the whole somali airforce was in hargeisa.

What divisions of the SNA did the USC fight? They only fought the red berets who were Afweynes bodyguards, they chased women and children across the border and that's it.

SNM doesnt need to take over all the towns in Somaliland to be a successful guerrilla, many guerrillas or insurgencies around the world have never taken any enemy town but these guerrillas won the wars.

SNM killed many Somali soldiers and isolated somali garrisons in Somaliland,this was a very useful aid for USC and Farah Aidid.
