Naga amuus. You're an embarrassment.

Your arguments prove your extraordinary lack of knowledge on Islam as well as your poor logic
I will gladly shut up.

Watch this video on evolution. Ciddharta is full of hot air
I watched this clip, by the way, and the logic is piss poor. My memory of the literal nature of Man's creation was a little hazy, so I did some research.
Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.
http://quran.com/32/7

Firstly, how can something be perfected THEN evolve? There is no basis for Micro or Macro Evolution in the Quran. According to Islam, nothing came before Men, neither Neanderthals nor Homo Erectus. To say otherwise is unIslamic. I wish Zubeir would give his impression on this matter because he accepts his religion as it truly is, which is admirable.

And guess what the next line in that ayah is:
Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained.
http://quran.com/32/8

Now isn't that something. The very line that Muslims quote up and down when they claim the Quran contains scientific truth. Now how can this reference to sperm be literal and "from clay" be metaphorical?

So, in conclusion, the Quran says one thing, which has been accepted for almost 2 millenia and is still accepted by the majority of Muslims. And, now, some Westerners, conflicted with the knowledge they've learned in Western schools, claim vagueness where there was once certainty. Go become a wadaad and preach that and see where your words are accepted, at forums for middle-class, educated, Western-raised Muslims.

If it was up to me, I'd ban every single atheist on this website. f-king attention whores. I don't care of they believe they descended from Baboons but what pisses me off is when they try to stuff this nonsense down our throats. You atheists are lucky I'm not a mod, I would've shoved up that 'freedom of speech' BS you all value to where the light doesn't shine.

Since you're not well versed in the diin, get her in contact with a person of knowledge you know or someone you've listened to who you think will be able to help her (Omar Suleiman, Suhaib Webb, Nouman Khan, Mufti Menk, etc). If she's sincere, you can guide her to the right people but not "convert". Your knowledge will be used against you on qiyaama if you're wrong in anything you teach her.

That is where Islam is in contradiction with scientific fact. Now, will you argue that I don't really know what was meant by "created with my own hands" or "from clay/dust/the earth,"

Let's not forget the story of Adam is believed to be true in Islam.
Prove that humans were the result of countless mutations and transitions with your scientific fact.

There were true Muslim's, some mentioned in the Quran/hadiths and others who came after. They took part in acts of bravery and did random acts of kindness towards family, neighbours and complete strangers. The muslims of today are mostly hypocrites. They make sure to be seen praying at the mosque and yet when you meet them outside they don't greet you with a smile nor a salaam but questions such as "hows uni?" or "are you married yet?"

I remember when two Jehovah witness came knocking, they pretty much trashed me to the point I had to question if I was really a Muslim. Yes, praying and reading is enough to maintain that Salafi lifestyle but when you're scrutinized by a non-muslim, you will fail. Subhanallah imagine the day you will be asked real questions from your maker.

My point is question your own Iman.

Why do Humans have Neanderthal DNA?

As you may know, when a donkey and a horse mate the mule is sterile. Same goes for liger (lion + tiger). So, how can there be remnants of Neanderthal DNA in modern Humans if the progeny of a Neanderthal and a Human were sterile? The answer is they weren't sterile. Humans and Neanderthals were so closely related that their offspring retained the ability to reproduce.

What does that have to do with evolution?
Cant it be divergence some cases so extreme to the point of devolution.
I believe that humanity was so diverse, imagine whst we would have without the massive bottlenecks we experienced.

Since god created the universe and everything in it...what was he doing before then? What was he doing before he created the universe?

Have you seen aborigines?

Ciddhartha, what we consider humans of today, and neanderthals, doesn't indicate that we evolved. It only indicates that there were two groups of people that were all but similar and interbred to have offspring that live until now.

Platinum, you do know that the time like space is just creation? Even modern physicists believe that space and time began with the "big bang" and that there was nothing before.

Actually, Australian Aboriginals have high rates of Denisovan (kinda like Neanderthals) DNA.

Except, Neanderthals predate humans.
