You don't necessarily have to reside in Somalia throughout. Spending months every year in Somalia pretty much establishes residency.

I still remember the 27th night of ramadan 2013, it is said that a true sign of laylatul qadar is that on the following morning you can witness the sunrise without many blinding rays, in other words you can watch the sun without it blinding your eyes due to extreme light, so prior to sunrise i found myself walking around the hood looking for the sun but i saw many a building blocking my view, that's when i resolved that I have to return back to the motherland where I can drive up to the many hills of hargeisa that overlook the city and just watch the sun rise in its full splendour!

When you're 80 you'll get a pension and a freedom pass in other words free travel. You won't pay a penny to get that new pacemaker you needed because of your heart problems. Meanwhile in Somalia you'd probably be dead by that age.

Assuming that Lancer is 25 years old right now, he will be 80 in the year 2070.

That's 55 years from now. For all you know Somalia could be a middle-income nation by then. We all know how dramatically Singapore and Dubai have transformed in only 20 years.

Somalia can do the same thing

I would be of course saving money in advance for retirement and I'm pretty sure any pension or social security you receive can be forwarded to you back home if not oh well. I would like to spend my last moments in my ancestral land I don't want to stay here for a pacemaker that will only extend my life for a few years.
