I find it funny when Bons are claiming OG areas. From 2007 until now. Wait till we liberate our parts of Gedo from the Ethiopian invaders and their Puppets in Garbahareey

Thank you
With that said you asked me a question and since I am a Marehan, obviously I am more privy to Marehan information.
- Disclaimer: I never like or engage in these types of discussions because I have a long established personal position: I do not support, condone, or would even accept a concept of "clan ownership" over land. I mean really---I do not at all. In my smallest village of my extended "reer/family" I honestly don't ever assume it as belonging to a clan or "more to me" than any other Somali---so arguments like this never interest me for that reason because our objectives are diamentrically opposed.
However, I have and will contest specifically the facts when they are being used to negatively affect or deny my clan's equity.
Still, the identification of "settled land" and the full extent of highlighting it, including mapping, just purports to express how things "are."
It has nothing to do with how things "should be."
I can tell you personally, as Gubbet, I would welcome any Somali, let alone my Ogaadeen brothers or MJ brothers, or any other Somali to become my own next door neighbor if that's what they wanted. I would even house and shelter them if need be and they required support and assistance.
Since Gedo is well known, I am going to bring information well known in Marehan, but which most people may not be aware of (like the fact Marehan is actually signed to the Somali Woreda in DDSI most closest to Nageyle).
This informalion is NOT "anecdotal evidence"--it is NOT we used to be there during JVA or whatever.
They are strictly from.on the ground reconciliation attempts by IGAD, the UN, and AMISOM within the past 8 years Ahmed Madoobe was President of Jubbaland.
- In that time, Marehan and Ogaden as residential neighbors were reconciled in these districts of Lower and Middle Jubba as well as Marehan and other clans like Gaaljecel;
- Saakoow District of Middle Jubba @ Daressalam village and grazing all the way to Bu'aale.
- . Afmadoow District of Lower Jubba @ Hagar township, I mean Hagar is literally as much Marehan as Ogaden right now, at the least am exceptionally strong minority of Marehan and a small plurality of Ogaden
- Afmadoow District of Lower Jubba @ Dhuya Garoon village
- Afmadoow District of Lower Jubba @ Diif border crossing point (in fact labeled a "Marehan majority" area by USAID)
- Kismaayo District of Lower Jubba @ Berhani village
