We somalis are not different, Unlike most african countries. We come from one ethnic group and then we split into different tribes. Just like an England the're english first then a Scouser, Goerdie, Manc, Brummie after....But the only diffrence is that it's not a tribe but regional.

Somalia will never be like yogaslav. Do you know what Yogaslavia was? Who was part of it? The reason is because culturallly they were all different. Plus the coutnries who broke up all spoke different language, For example....

Slovenia people speak Slovenian
Croatia people speak Croatian
Macedonia people speak Macedonian
Bosnia and Herzegovina people speak Bosnian
Montenegria people speak Montenegrin
Kosovo people speak albanian

Do you get it now? They were all different, The had different ways of life, Cuture, Religion, Language etc. Which is why they broke up.

Firstly, Don't be writing checks you won't be able to cash. An attack on Galmudug will lead to serious repercussions.

Secondly, Galmudug is not in the business of expanding to where its not wanted. We are not the JVA. The cost of holding territory where the locals are hostile is a waste of time, energy and resources because in the end you will leave.

Thirdly, if you read my post, I proposed a union of Mudug & Galgaduud. These two were already united under the old 1960s administrative maps before being changed by the Barre government.

Claiming territory and cities where the locals reject you is what leads to conflict. Look at Kismayo. That city has changed more hands than a 1 dollar bill. In the end, no major development occurs and the locals suffer. Look at places where no one side claims it, they develop well: Bosaso, Garowe, Galkacyo, Hargeisa, Burco etc.

If any lesson can be learned from the the past 20 years of war, no amount of force can indefinitely hold a city which the locals reject it. The USC learned that in Baidoa, Kismayo, etc.
