Another example of hypocritical somalis..when war first broke out everyone knows that 50% of the first refugees to arrive in the UK came from carabta, east africa, djbouti, ethiopia etc.. They didn't pick Columbus per se. When they fled Somalia, they were divided up by the government. Columbus and Minneapolis were the lucky recipients of the vast majority of them.
I personally can't stand them. Their culture dictates that women are second class citizens and do not deserve respect. They lie, cheat and steal to get by. And none of them even have to pay taxes for the first 7 years they live here, but they are entitled to free health care.

This means all Somalis in Somalia live in a destitute situation, lacking food and clothing, but how many businessmen and women live in high standards inside Somalia. How many of us have real estates, livestocks, do fisheries, farming, etc. The average person in homeland lives much better than the average person in India, Kenya, Ethiopia and many advanced countries. To ruminate on such thoughts hides a deep insecurity about your culture and people.
Somalis back in the days used to travel around the world and still come back to live as they used to be. I have read of an English explorer who met Somali nomads tending their goats and camels and who had been to London and New York.


We once sent a visa to my own uncle. I swear he declined to come to the states and you know what, his children still live in Somalia and they seem to have learned everything. Somalis go to India for higher education once they graduate from their little universities.
