Like it or not the city of DireDawa is synanmous with Dir and thats how it shall remain. The oromo come as workers the same way they do in Djibouti. You just love giving away other folkz territory dont you. First of all the city is maority Muslim and oromo were pagans and we are the ones who converted them. Secondly no matter what side u drive for someone to go some where they have to go through us to get to the city. Thirdly the city is run by somalis and actually almost all the somali politicians in djibouti come from DireDawa, that just shows u how the importance the city has to us. I though u said Makhaair was pursuing a independant case which means u are no longer from somalia? The cities lifeline is Djibouti and it surrounding areas and we all know who runs those places.

Since when has Maakir become a Somali administration? there is a difference between Regions such Nugaal Region that starts from North Caynabo, Sool, and then finally Nugaal.

Or the Golis mountains that cross Saaxil, Togdheer, and Sanaag.

Maakir is the Region between Ceelafweyne, Xiis, Ceerigabo, iand ends in Las Qaroy where HY, HJ, Warsangalli, and Dhulbante live..

President Jibrils vision of Maakhir is to be a part of a federal Somalia. Mine is continuing the Garaads legacy and promoting its independence as it was prior to 1960.

Between Oromos have migrated to DirDawa not including the indgenious Noole and are displacing and intergrating the SOmalis (Dir) into their society. 10 yrs there wont be a single Somali in DirDawa. Dir is not the only subclan that lives there Sheekhal, who also claim Oromo, Abskul and Bartire live there.
