I beleive that Morocco is looking for its best interst at hand. Joining the EU would def. help their economy and boost some R & D that is much needed. Im proud of Morocco, it has come along way in terms of human rights issues and drug trafficing. Thats not to say that it does not still exist.
Africa as a continent has along way to go and morocco sees' that and it doesnt wanna be pulled out.
