Starscream,
Not ''Gave'', because that would mean they actually have a free will of their own
The Ethiopians just went to them and stripped every significant weaponry while denying them to flee with any weaponry from the port or through road to Northeastern region.

Are we actually suppose to take this serious? If you would have said " they gave their military outfit away to the remaining TFG militias" I might have bought it, but they gave away the heavy weaponry?

Well spoken.
Someone who claims to be Hawiye and wants the best for his people and country would despise the warlords and traitors hiding behind our name.

Abakar, The thing with Hawiye masses is, they don't hesitate to call a spade a spade-and call our their traitors. Sheikh Shariif cut his beard, is dressing like a politician and even had a dinner with top Ethiopian commanders in Moqdisho. Just two years ago, he had a huge bird always dressed in Pakistani khamiis etc.
Just two years ago, he had an apportunity to struck a a deal with the Ethiopians and the TFG, but he refused to do it. Fast forward, and just two years later, he's taking the same deal that was on the table. He could have done this deal back in 2006 when had the chance

The day we are receptive to Northeastern propaganda is the day we have succumbed to ignorance and stupidity.
We know sheikh Shariif. I never agreed with his political believes, but I have always respected and admired his character of always looking out for the interest of the people and balancing it with that of the country.
Also, I rather prefer to deal with a pragmatic religious politician then an extremist religious warlord. So I take anytime Sh.Shariif (while not agreeing with his political believes) over extremists like Alshabab, Aweys or who not.

AW, what are you doing when Abdi qaybdiid is disarmed kicked to the curb? He's been cornered these days. Would you still support Sheikh Shariif and his wadaad thugs?
