What the heck is this "Boqol Yasin" thing they do. You think there going to read Surah Yasin 100 times then they read a couple of ayahs make salaad on the Prophet SAW and then there done
Anyway as long as You do Your adkaar, read Surah Falaq/Nas You'll be safe from them Inshallah

Murax,
People used to believe the dumbest things back then like solar eclipse means the end of the world, then people would take idin and put foox inside and walk around outside yelling: laa ilaah ilaa laah, qaafoow rabukum, yaa muslimeen. Now it makes no sense, but back then it made a lot of sense. Casr jahiliya.

lol....A sheik was tellin us one day how the reer baadiye people were use the yasin si nooc kale. Kulaha "Waxaa arkaysaa nin, nimankale la soo dagaale oo la soo ceersanaayo on the run reciting the "Wa'ja-calna mim-beyni ayedeehim, sadaw ma min khalfihim sadaw fa'aqsheynahum fa-hum la yubasiroon" (36.09) part of Yasin. Historically thats what the part the prophet (SCW) recited when they were on the run from the gaalos and were in hiding, and God made the chasers just run past them without seeing them. lol. All of the Qur'an helps....but three Suurah's u'd mentioned as well as Ayaaatul Kursi keeps one safe, is what he said.

these dudes are talking alshabab's demolishing graves of islamic scholars, the so called sufis. these are the same people given a chance who will desecrate prophet mohamed's grave out of medina genaral mosque.
why dont they teach the masses and respect these shuyuukh's graves?

hyper
your family name is sheikh ali suufi. why your Suufi family name if it is bad? was your grandfather a bid3a innovator muslim scholar? is kollombo more educated than him?
now kollombo is your sheikh (a man who admitted smoking marijuana is his at his best) and your own family needs is for the highest bidder 2 be seen as muslim scholars, a family who were from siad barre to wahabi/salafi qatari muftis--your great grandfather wouldl have rejected them all--ask your dad why? was your great grandfather bid3a parctising sheikh? his name was suufi ali. also. we somalis still respect sheikh ali suufi. will you still rely on kollombo?

these shuyuukhs like your great grandfather were educated and worked hard for islam and spread islam accross continenets before the advent of grave desceration wahabi/sect by illiterate people who construed as it is to they prothelyze on their graves. why cant they educate them? most somalis were illiterates and now they are all of them think dying for alshabab will give them a pass to heaven. what happens when these sort of crazy minded of people come and conquer madina? desecrate the prophet's grave? ask your dad? kollombo corrupts you. these dudes were educated in saudi wahabi funded mosques. dont embarass your dad.hyperactive wrote:suufi, you should ask them not me.

Re: Leader Of Shabab Speaks
Kolombo,
I have passed through Barava when I was a little kid, when we escaped from Xamar we lived in beuatifull area around Janale in some farm, however when the war intensified we had to head further south towards Kismaayo, it was during this period I gott to see Brava.
For safety reason we had to travel in a convey of 10 - 12 cars (all family and friends), I remember we stayed in the main road place called mudul braawe (resting) and my older brother and some other guys drove down to Braawe to get us some food and stuff. I remember afer sometime he came back excited he was like "hooyo, come see this place, it's like another country", indeed it was like another country, the people, the food, the language and even the archtecture was different.
We had trouble people talking to us, they were scarred because we had guns, I must say some of the guns we carried were realy big and scary indeed. I vaguely remember the old people among our group talking to some braawe elders explaining we were just normal people like them oo qaxaayo, we just needed some food etc.
I had the adevnture of my life during qixii walaahi, I was too naive to realise this will be it for me in Somalia (no more retun to Xamar), I just remember enjoying the thrill of doing stuff I never though I will doing......
