Muqdisho with all the fighting its seen the last 18 years looks better than any town in Somalia. I was blown-away when I went there in 2006. Mogadishu & Banadir University campusses alone were enough for me. No need to hate on them simply because our clans no longer live there. If you want to praise your dusty & barren villages, go back there & live in them, or else shut the fuck up.

Muqdisho is still the largest & most populated city in Somalia. And eventhough its seen its share of war & destruction, it has also seen a major boost in its economy & construction in the last 8-10 years. Comparing it to clan towns that have limited populations is ridiculous and that was my main point. Just as it is ridiculous to deny its importance as the capital.
