I repeat. I have searched throughout the internet and everything in between, there is never any record of a recognized Somaliland state that had recognition as an independent state from any other state. There is NO record.

If Somaliland was an independent recognized state, give me any record anywhere.

The British granted a colony independence but they never recognized a Somaliland state because it never existed.

if there was no civil war and there was a country wide Shir involving all Somalis in the year 1991... Somalia would be a country today and maybe even united BUT...

so I think any Somali government that comes about in Xamar should recognize Somaliland, whats the big deal man... unity can be achieved through other measures not just one Somali state
