Those were the only two blocks built by the Italians and it was not even allowed to Somalia. Read your own Isaaq Jamac Maxamed Qalib in his book cost of dictatorship. He says even after independence, Italian settlers lived in the only two blocks near the cathedral built by the Italians.

Under Siyaad, those empty two blocks became

And the rest of Mogadishu

Somalia was a soviet nation under siyad and you are proud of that they gave us financial and military help there were even paintings of karl marx, lenin and co in xamar alongside siyad barre so if you think that was normal then that's up to you but don't force your opinions on others.

Somalia was never a real socialist country. Until the Ethiopian communist revolution in the 70's, Ethiopia was the best friend of the U.S under Haile Salassie so the government aligned with the Soviets to get the same kind of support which they would not have gotten from the Americans. It was all politics. Read what Fidel Castro wrote about Siad Barre when he tried to mediate between what they thought was a socialist Somalia and a new communist Ethiopia. Siad told them to fock off and Castro writes the only thing that Siad cares about is nationalism even if it means pretending to be a socialist.

Sxb Do you think we take Jamac Maxammad qalib his words as saxiix , just because he happens to share a lineage with some IIdoor folks, I see you do that allot try to proof a point from clannish point of view. Most somalilanders never read the gibirish he wrote.Marka try other sources kuwii gaalada la qaatay aad al shir iman jiirtay aad ka so copygereyn jirtay

The only thing MSB built in Mogadishu are monuments for dead Darood and Arabs. People like Mad Mullah, Ahmad ibn Ibrihim al-Ghazi and Xawa Taako. Mogadishu was prospering centuries before he was born and continued to prosper after his demise.

Just because you don't believe it was not a soviet nation doesn't change the reality during that time siyad's party was known as: Somali Revolutionary Socialist Party or Xisbiga Hantiwadaagga Kacaanka

Are you slow sxb? Read what I wrote and read you responded. I know that is the party's name and I know until the 77 war socialist rhetoric was the key of the day. Did I dispute that?
