of course waa Marexaan, never denied their Marexaanimo, therefore, no need to pay xaal

it was just non existence in my world till I read it here few days ago.

Mahdi is right...all Haber-cise pretty much have ilka cas..there is a close haber-ciise family who live in ceel-buur and this duduble guy told my mother..that he knew a family oo lagu sheego the same name as hers and they all have ilkahiina...

Habar Ciise? Is their mother from Ciise clan or is it just a name and than if other clan's have habar this and habar that, than how come people are on the Isaaq case for having Habar name's? Another quick question so far i have met 4 marehaan and habar cafan mix of the samaroon clan and since most of them live around Harar, so what sub clan of marehan could they be from?

Nah, they are the sons of Ciise Warwaajecle (Marehan) but he died while they were young and his wife underwent "dumaal" by his brother Xussein Warwaajecle (Celi). "Habar Ciise" baa ku dhagtay wiilashi marka to distinguish them from Xussein's biological kids.

Hussien Warwaajecle (Celi) died and his wife waxa dhumaalay Ciise-Warwaajecle who was a very young guy at the time and the only Warwaajecle living since his other brothers were way older then him, and she was a much older women and was not expected to have much kids. When the people saw the kids, people would say war yaa ciyaalkaas dhalay, and someone would reply "habarti Ciise." Magacaa wuu ku dhagay marka.

The Haber-Ciise in Gedo and Ethiopia call themselves Ciise-Muslim, my abtiyaal do that too now. Beesha Ciise-Muslim.

KOA, there are numerous Marexaan sub-clans in that area. Reer-Diini, Ina Nuur, Reer-Cismaan, Ciise-Muslim, Reer-Yusef and so on.
