He's Geledi aka the Kings of Banaadir.

I knew this kid before he could barely walk and the farthest from Afgooye he's ever gone was Afgooye.

that's the problem. all the other clans get to run their own regions and the locals of xamar can't do the same. That's what we have been on about the whole time, not about where u live, that was never the debate
How will it work if abgaals want to mamul gobleed and they say xamar is part of our maamul! Will you be happy with that? naah. Or if reer xamars said its part of our maamul how will abgaals feel? Its not going to work is it.

Reer Xamar's and Abgaal can easily strike a deal. It's the hungry bastards from Galgaduud that opress the minorities. Mukulaal madow comes to mind.

U can say that for dozens of cities, why are u signaling out Xamar for it? The locals can build their own maamul if given the opportunity, and the problem with Xamar isn't with Abgaal and Reer Xamar. Its between Abgaal and another clan not from Xamar.
Are you saying that abgaals will share power with all the clans from xamar?

So? u probably are doing fine without a million dollars, but if it came your way, you'd still want it
I think badiyo should stay badiyo thats why.

Yes,

Abgaal, and the rest of the local clans can easily strike a deal. We've lived with each other for hundreds of years without problem. The problem was never Abgaal and the other locals, it was Abgaal and habaaraneey

halfbked,
i like your suggestion but i think 50 yrs is too little because it's already been 30+ yrs since 1980.. perhaps 100 years is a better number.

Lol.Why dont you say habar gidir? Calling me ilmo madar kicis just say habar gidir. Am sure you dont like abgaals more than you like habar gidir. So stop being qabilistel, we need to move on from qabiil.

Cause I like the name Madarkicis, besides its the correct name, and you need to learn a little more. I don't know where you are finding qabiilism here, I only want to be rule my own land, like everyone else. How is that qabiilist?

I did consider saying 100 years, but then thought of the sort of bureaucratic nightmare it can become. Specially since it would be impossible or even near-impossible to find anyone with written land ownership papers, furthermore any witnesses or neighbors from a 100 years ago would be dead by now. Too much polarization in Somalia currently, we need to restore things that way many indigenous populations who are marginalized can at least have a say in how their regions are run.

U know the difference between Abgaal and Habar Gedir in destroying Xamar?

Actually I'm pretty sure I can tell you every clan that lives in Galgaduud

Judging from the video, no one lives there now

All this talk about who owns Xamar is pretty dumb in light of that
