Somalia's population is approximately 10 million. There are about 6 million South Somalis (below Gaalkacyo). According to recent estimates the Bantu population of Somalia makes up 15%, almost all live in the South.

That’s 1.5 million Bantus out of 6 million inhabitants of South Somalia, therefore 1 out every 4 South Somalis is a Bantu.
