That is absolutely not true. He did not move. He went there for the crowning Ugaas event but if it is legitimised he does plan to come back move there permanently. What does what his Sister does got to do with him? He is family man and the family is still in Canada. He is married Dr Mohamud Sh Ahmed Mohamed's Sister and she is still in Canada with the rest of the family.

Everyone is aware of what took place in Dolow, both Ugaases have invitation from different groups so that tells you they are not oppose to attending the meeting but I'm not sure if neither one of them has the official invitation because from what I know on the Southern Marehan delegation there is one spot empty that is reserved for the head of the Saladiin but the two of them have to first sort it out before they can claim that spot.

There is no vacuum in Jubbas and Gedo also the troops stations in Celwak & Afmadow/Badhadhe are always paid. The troops in Dolow will get paid when the transition to come under the other troops in Gedo & Jubbas are completed.

The issue is, the locals know Ina Omar and they prefer to deal with him while the Diaspora knows Ina Hashi and they prefer someone who is aware of the regional politics with ability to travel. I personally think Ina Hasha has the legitimate claim to the throne.

Most Sade accept Ina Xaashi has the more legitimate claim and the votes. It just tells us a lot about ina Cumar for not compromising and instead trying to start a traditional war. He has the chance to be the right hand man of the new Ugaas and his eyes and ears in the local affairs but instead he will spill the whole milk trying to attain the post with the odds stalked against him.

Like I have previously mentioned, ...an issue raging between two first cousins that reached to a level unprecedented in SADE's tribal hierarchy where some of us are choosing sides like a game'.

It seems, instead of us taking the neutral standpoint and forcing these two first cousins or Reer Ugaas Xirsi to reconcile, we are choosing sides, thus elevating the whole squabble in to a contest. If you ask me, it only shows the lack of a tribal constitution when it comes to our hierarchy. This dis-array could have been avoided if Ugaas Cumar (RH) nonimated his successor before his death.

Coming back to ina Ugaas Xaashi and ina Ugaas Cumar. Both these two cousins have legitimacy to the Ugaasnimo as both their fathers were Ugaasyo. Those in Somalia majority support ina Ugaas Cumar whilst those in the Diaspora support ina Ugaas Xaashi. One (ina Ugaas Xaashi) is a member of the Somali Diaspora, more aware of things outside of Somalia, perhaps more educated whilst ina Ugaas Cumar is more of a traditional elder, having spent a considerable amount of time with his father who held the Ugaas-ship over 50 years.

Now, if the Ugaas' sub-clan cannot agree to to come to a verdict, then we have to apply reasoning.

Now what is the role of an Ugaas? Is it a crucial prerequisite that he has to be educated or is his role only to mediate between conflicting sub-clans and be savvy about their affairs. Secondly, and more importantly, which support takes priority, those in the homeland or the diaspora? Finally, if ina Ugaas Xaashi is accepted as the legitimate Ugaas, in the future, will his succession be another repeat of what is occuring now between his sons and ilma Ugaas Cumar (numbering over 40)?

In the end, and I firmly believe in this, that emphasis should be placed on Reer Ugaas Xirsi to resolve this without outside influence from other sub-clans.

I knew it! That is wasn't got to do with who is the 'Ugaas Guud' of Sade. He says waa la buun buuniyay waxaa dhacay. basically he clarified this happened but he says it has nothing to do with what the media is saying it is.

Besides, the video I uploaded on this thread clearly shows that Reer Ugaas Xirsi have agreed that Ina Ugaas Xaashi is the Ugaas and that Ina Ugaas Cumar will get compensation etc.

Anyways lets not focus on traditional leadership dispute, and think about the political power vacuum in Gedo and the rest of Jubbaland. Lets wait and see at Dr. Ducaale's moves, I'm very optimistic about him. I wish you would see a copy of his plan..........just amazing!!!!!! Sxb watch the video Ximan posted, their uncle is saying the family agrees Maxamed Ugaas Xaashi is the Ugaas as do most of Sade as do 95% of the people who posted in this topic except you and Warsame who is being very political about it.

The issue is very clear and Maxamed Ugaas Cumar does not have the support or legitimacy for that role that Maxamed Ugaas Xaashi does. However, he is reer Ugaas Xirsi and his father was Ugaas Cumar and he is the first cousin of ina Xaashi so he deserves consideration, respect, and role in traditional advising but he is not the Ugaas.
