But I do have my own theories that I would like to see in play, I believe in tribalism, what I want is to take it to the next level by reforming tribal legislation Xeer, give the entire tribal society a more central structure whiles maintaining its fluid nature, our Elders do meet from time to time, but what if there were a council of Ugaas, Sultaan, Amirs, Islaans etc with a chairman Boqor. our biggest problem has not been ineffectiveness or being incapable of greatness, clearly that self-hating notion was smashed to pieces by the Kacaan, what we need though is take a different approach towards government and nationhood. for decades Somali governments has either ignored, sidelined, fought against or misused our tribalism, we are capable of greatness and nationhood, but we have strong tribal tendencies, every Somali on this planet is born with a set of allegiances first with the Tribe than with Sub-Tribe and so forth, it is undeniable that this is alive and functioning system of governance. You cannot promptly replace this system with nationhood without it hitting back, every social system fights for survival, look what happened to the Kacaan, a African super power and growing was swallowed hold by tribalism in a matter of days, people had no Idea what was going on until the mortars fired by tribal factions started to fall, thats how powerful a system tribalism is.
