Depression varies. Mild to Severe

Let's take a look a one situation. So a woman gives birth and has baby. Her mind and body has gone through a lot. And soon afterwards she falls into depression-->postpartum

So her becoming ill was her choice?

Again depressions varies. Some cases you have some control over others not as much.
